This bar b q joint was pretty good. Everything was steaming hot and tasty. What was good is that nothing was overpowering. The amount of bar b q sauce was just right. Not the best bar b q I've had but it sure was not the worse! First visit was in April hence the Easter themed flight of drinks. Pretty good. No pic of the ribs but there were tasty too. Recommend!

This place made my southern heart happy! The food was everything I expected in superb soul food. Those collard greens were chefs kiss. The service was great and personal. The owner even came over and chatted for a minute to make sure we enjoyed it and had enough to eat, which is true southern charm. We will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this place.

What a great find. We were looking for a place for a beer and a bite before an event at the auditorium. Just a short minute walk towards downtown and it smelled so good we had to stop in. Not going to play the lottery because I just used up all my good luck finding this place. The pulled pork was some of the best I've had. Nice beer selection and really friendly service.

Stopped in on a whim and so glad we did! Renay was awesome, very kind and outgoing. The food was outstanding. So much flavor and food for the money. The ribs were succulent and fell right of the bone. The Mac n cheese was ooey gooey and had just the right amount of salt. The potato salad was creamy but not too creamy. All the food was fresh and delicious. The employees were all very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

The food here is great! The apps are big portions. I pretty much filled up on the spicy wings splitting them with a friend. They were really good too, would definitely order them again. The ribs are on point, they fall apart just right. You can pick the rib up with the meat on it and not have to worry about it falling on you as you go to eat it. The rub on them was charred in a really great way. For sides, the Mac and cheese is pretty decent. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and order it pretty much every time I get food from here. The corn bread and the fries are ok. I'm very picky about cornbread, theirs was not bad, just nothing special. And their fries are quite thin, I prefer a thicker cut fry, but that's just my preference. The server we had was great too, she was super chill and very attentive. She made a really bomb alcoholic limeade too. I'm not sure if it is just because it was a Wednesday after work, but the place was fairly empty. I would expect it to be much busier with how good the food is.
